Octave’s sleep trial is 365 nights. This is much longer than the industry-standard 100-night trial. After you try your Octave for at least 21 days, you can decide whether you want to keep the mattress or return it for a full refund within the sleep trial window.

According to the third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Octave mattresses are considered medium-firm. This means you should experience minimal sinking with a consistent amount of “hug” from the top layer. A medium-firm feel is ideal for all sleep styles, whether you sleep on your side, back, or stomach.

The Octave memory foam mattress is made in Canada, with manufacturing facilities in Ontario.

Octave Mirage and Octave Horizon each contain a 1.5″ layer of aerated latex foam. This supportive layer offers a little extra springiness for a more responsive sleep surface. It also contains hundreds of air vents to promote breathability. Octave Vista doesn’t contain any latex.

Octave mattresses are backed by 15-year warranty that covers repair or replacement in case of manufacturer errors.

Yes, all Octave mattresses come with a machine-washable cover. Simply unzip the 360-degree top cover and run it through your washing machine on a gentle cycle. Then lay it out to air-dry, or run a low-heat or tumble-dry cycle in the dryer. Finally, zip the top cover back onto the bottom cover.

Octave Mirage is an upgrade from Octave Vista. Mirage has the same multi-zoned support and advanced cooling features as Vista. However, it also has an extra half-inch of memory foam in the top layer and a 1.5″ aerated foam layer for improved pressure-point relief and air circulation.

Octave Horizon is the most upgraded option in the Octave lineup. It has greater motion isolation and more advanced cooling features than Vista or Mirage. In addition to the same cooling and comfort features as Mirage, Horizon also contains a 2″ layer of ecoLuxe® cooling gel foam for spinal support and temperature control.

Octave is the next step in the evolution of Novosbed. Octave’s cooling memory foam mattresses provide many of the same popular features as Novosbed, like cooling and pressure-point relief. However, Octave offers more advanced cooling features and improved edge support and motion isolation, all at a lower price point. When comparing Octave vs Novosbed, it’s also worth noting that Novosbed is no longer available in Canada.
