There are benefits and drawbacks to purchasing a mattress from Silk & Snow. Our Silk and Snow mattress review will help you decide whether or not to buy your next mattress from this company.

Popular Silk & Snow Mattresses

These well-known mattresses are available through the Silk & Snow Canada website. However, you should know about the upsides and downsides of each product.

Poor customer reviews indicate you may have difficulty dealing with Silk & Snow customer service and arranging a return if there’s a problem with your mattress. Long-term warranty coverage is limited, too, with free repair or replacement ending after just 10 years. And with only a 100-night trial, you’ll need to decide fast if you want to keep your Silk & Snow.

Read our Silk and Snow reviews to learn more. Or, if you’re looking for a longer warranty, longer sleep trial, and better-rated customer service (according to Trustpilot and BBB), consider Logan & Cove or Douglas instead.

Silk & Snow Original

Silk & Snow Original is a medium-firm memory foam mattress with good motion isolation, support, and pressure point relief, and motion isolation.

However, the mattress doesn’t live up to its claim of “zero motion transfer.” It scored a 7.6/10 for motion isolation in third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us)—still leaving room to improve.

Need a cooling foam mattress with greater motion isolation? Consider Douglas Original.

Silk & Snow Hybrid

Silk & Snow Hybrid is a medium-firm mattress with a firmer feel. It provides zoned support under your back and hips using pocketed coils and memory foam.

Still, Silk & Snow’s 100-night sleep trial doesn’t provide much time to decide whether you want to keep the mattress. Customers have also complained of difficulty arranging a product return.

Want to buy a supportive hybrid mattress with a 365-night sleep trial and top-notch customer service? Consider Logan & Cove Frontier.

Silk & Snow Organic

Silk & Snow Organic uses organic latex and cotton for a supportive, responsive hybrid mattress with a firm feel and zoned support regardless of how much you weigh.

However, customers have reported issues with motion transfer—not ideal if you share a bed with a partner. The mattress is also regularly priced at $1,400 for a queen size, which is less affordable for some Canadians.

Want a premium hybrid mattress with great motion isolation for under $1,000? Consider Logan & Cove Choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Silk & Snow mattresses good?

Some Silk and Snow owners report liking their mattresses. However, if you’re looking for a cooling foam or hybrid mattress, excellent customer service, or a sleep trial longer than 100 days, you may prefer a different mattress. We suggest Logan & Cove or Douglas.

Who owns Silk & Snow?

Sleep Country acquired Silk & Snow in 2023. The company also owns other sleep brands like Endy and Casper.

What Silk & Snow mattress sizes are available?

Silk and Snow mattress sizes include standard twin, twin XL, full/double, queen, king, and California king sizes for the Original, Hybrid, and Organic models. You can also purchase a foam RV mattress in three sizes.

Do Silk & Snow mattresses smell?

Silk and Snow claims on their website that you might notice a minimal new mattress smell (known as off-gassing), but say it should go away quickly. A number of customer reviews disagree, though, with some buyers returning their mattresses after the smell didn’t go away.

How long is the Silk & Snow mattress warranty?

Silk and Snow Canada offers a 15-year mattress warranty that covers one-time repair or replacement due to manufacturer errors. However, this warranty provides limited free coverage after the 10-year mark.

According to the Silk and Snow website, your mattress can only be repaired or replaced free within the first 10 years of owning it. For the next five years of the warranty, repair or replacement will cost you 75% of the original purchase price.
