Motion Isolation

Both Logan & Cove Frontier and Simba 2500 are hybrid mattresses that combine foam and spring layers to provide a comfortable sleeping experience. Simba features 4 layers and stands 12″ tall, while Frontier has a height of 13.5” and is constructed with 5 distinct layers.

• Layer 1: The first layer is 1″ of breathable hollow fibre fill and cooling gel-infused foam. It’s quilted directly under the Euro-top cover, providing a degree of plushness and directly dissipating your body heat when you’re lying down.
• Layer 2: The second is 1″ of ecoLuxe® cooling gel foam that provides gentle cushioning and targeted relief for your shoulders, hips, and knees. It also helps control excess body heat for a cooler, more comfortable sleep.
• Layer 3: This layer features 1″ of aeroduct micro-coils to help keep temperatures down and provide extra body-contouring support. The coils are arranged to help air circulate across the entire mattress.
• Layer 4: This 1.5″ layer of Elastex® foam contours around your body, providing comfort for any sleeping position.
• Layer 5: The support layer contains 9″ of individually wrapped steel pocketed coils. The coils are strategically placed in a three-zone system across the mattress, giving you excellent contoured support.

The Logan & Cove Frontier mattress features a plush Euro-top cover made from a blend of polyester, spandex, and polyethylene, with diamond tufting and accent stitching for a plush feel. It incorporates CryoFusion™ cooling nanofibres, a breathable hollow fibre fill, and gel-infused foam to ensure a cool and comfortable night’s sleep.

Since the mattress cover is not removable, spills or stains will need to be spot-cleaned. However, a mattress protector is included in the free bedding bundle offered with each Logan & Cove mattress, making maintenance easier.

Simba 2500 Mattress Layers

• Layer 1: The top layer is 1″ of graphite-infused foam. This layer contours around your body and helps to relieve pressure. The graphite infusion helps to dissipate heat, keeping your sleep cool.
• Layer 2: The second layer is 1″ of micro-coils. These cone-shaped springs are individually pocketed and encased in a layer of edge support foam along the mattress’s sidewalls.
• Layer 3: The third layer is 3.5″ of polyurethane foam that incorporates Simba’s “Edge Lift” technology. This layer is explained as creating more edge support, but Simba doesn’t provide details to explain how it does this.
• Layer 4: The bottom layer is 6.5″ of support foam. This dense foam layer gives the mattress most of its bulk and keeps you from sinking in too deep, and has perforations to increase airflow.

The Simba 2500 mattress features a hypoallergenic top cover made from a blend of polyester, polypropylene, and elastane. Additionally, the cover is not machine washable and can only be spot-cleaned. Unlike Logan & Cove, Simba mattresses don’t come with a free mattress protector with purchase.

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns

Simba 2500 can be ordered directly from Simba Sleep’s Canadian website or through Sleep Country Canada. However, Sleep Country handles shipping and returns for mattresses purchased on both platforms. The mattress is expected to arrive at your doorstep in 3–10 business days, including dispatch and delivery time.

Logan & Cove ships via FedEx, and your mattress should be delivered to your front door in 2–11 business days. For both brands, shipping is free to most locations in Canada, though additional fees may apply for remote areas. Both mattresses will arrive packaged in a box.

Simba 2500 comes with a 100-night sleep trial. If you choose to return the mattress, you must bring the mattress back to the store yourself, as Sleep Country does not provide return pickup. Additionally, Sleep Country does not issue refunds for returned mattresses; instead, you can exchange your mattress for in-store credit, minus a $65 exchange fee. If you upgrade to a more expensive mattress during the exchange, you must also pay the price difference.

Logan & Cove, on the other hand, offers a 365-night sleep trial. This generous trial period allows you to test the mattress at home before deciding if it’s the right fit. Their policy also includes free pickup and a full refund if you choose to return the mattress for any reason during the trial.
