The Dormeo Two is a 13″ all-foam mattress made in Vietnam with proprietary Octaspring® foam coils. Dormeo performed well in third-party engineer testing (that we commissioned) for edge support (9.5/10) and motion isolation (8.7/10). However, this mattress comes at a premium price point ($6,512 for a queen size) and is only backed by an industry-standard 100-night sleep trial and a 10-year warranty. You’ll also have shipping fees deducted from your refund if you decide it isn’t right for you.

Product Details
Dormeo Two stands 13″ tall and is advertised as the medium-to-medium-firm model of the lineup. Dormeo also offers a firm model (Dormeo One) and a plush model (Dormeo Three). According to third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), the Dormeo Two we purchased earned a score consistent with a medium feel. It also has outstanding edge support and excellent motion isolation. That said, at $6,512 for a queen size, Dormeo Two is priced higher than other mattresses with similar features.
The most unique feature of this mattress is its Octaspring® technology. Dormeo describes the eight-sided, all-foam “springs” as both breathable and cushioning. Dormeo Two’s cover is removable and machine washable. Although the Dormeo website mentions the cover being made of TENCEL, according to its law label, it’s composed of just polyester, polyethylene, and elastane. The Octasprings® and Octavent® mesh are designed to work together to keep the mattress cool throughout the night.
If you are intrigued by Dormeo Two’s features, but not its price tag, you might like the Douglas Summit mattress instead. It has a balanced medium-firm feel, a machine-washable top cover, and excellent motion isolation. Douglas also received a higher cooling features score thanks to advanced cooling technologies like cooling gel foam, phase-change material, and a moisture-wicking top cover made with plant-based Infinitex® and CryoFusion® cooling nanofibres. What are Dormeo’s Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns Policies?
Dormeo includes free shipping and White Glove delivery on every order, meaning the delivery team takes care of setting up your mattress in your choice of room. The mattress can take 6–10 business days to arrive at your door, given the standard shipping timeline of 5–7 business days. Dormeo ships from Toronto, Ontario, but does not currently deliver to Yukon, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut.
Dormeo’s 100-night sleep trial gives you a window to decide whether it’s the right fit, with a required minimum of 30 nights before initiating a return. It’s important to note that while shipping is free when you purchase your mattress, if you decide to return it, Dormeo will deduct the shipping cost from your refund. What Is the Dormeo Two Mattress Made of?
The Dormeo Two measures 13″ tall and is made of 4 CertiPUR-US® certified foam layers.
- 1st Layer: The top layer is 2″ of Dormeo’s Signature Recovery Foam®, a gel-swirled, high-density viscoelastic foam that’s designed to contour closely to your body.
- 2nd Layer: The second layer is 1.5″ of undisclosed foam. This should keep you from feeling the firmer support layers below.
- 3rd Layer: Next is 3″ of Octaspring® technology, a.k.a foam coils, arranged in different zones and encased in flat foam.
- 4th Layer: Another 3″ layer of Octaspring® tech in the Octachannel™ layout, where it alternates between rows of Octaspring® and flat foam throughout the mattress for weight-balancing support.
Dormeo Two’s cover is removable and machine washable, and is composed of polyester, polyethylene, and elastane. It’s built with a Chiltek® cover and Octavent® mesh, featuring cooling features such as phase-change material. Although the website says the cover is meant to contain TENCEL™, this material wasn’t listed on the label of the mattress we purchased.

If you sleep on your stomach or you carry more body weight, a medium-firm option like Douglas Summit (6.7/10) may be a better fit.

Who Owns Dormeo?
In 1998, Dormeo was founded as ADO Limited by Nino Tomšič. The company’s first foam mattress was produced in Italy in 2002. Dormeo expanded into the United Kingdom in 2009 and debuted its Octaspring technology in 2011. In 2023, the Dormeo brand (along with several others) was purchased by the newly incorporated Dormeo AG.
Dormeo’s Canadian operations have a good online reputation, with a BBB rating of “A+” and a customer review rating of 4.24/5 stars. While the Canadian division doesn’t have a Trustpilot profile, Dormeo’s UK division is rated “Great”.
