Product Details
Hush Graph-Iced stands 12″ tall and is available in a medium-firm feel only. The mattress also has above-average edge support and motion isolation. However, it has notably low bounce, making it less responsive than other hybrids.
The mattress’s most notable features are its cooling technologies. The first 2 layers in this mattress both use graphite-infused foam, which is antimicrobial as well as cooling. The support layer contains several air channels for breathability and comes with an IcedShift Cooling Band to add further heat dissipation. It’s not clear what this band is or how it provides cooling benefits.
The cover on Hush Graph-Iced is made of polyester and polypropylene. It’s removable and machine washable, but polyester and polypropylene aren’t known for their cooling properties.
Although Hush Graph-Iced comes with an industry-standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty and a 100-night sleep trial, returns are different depending on where you purchased the mattress. Hush offers a full refund for mattresses purchased through their website. But if you purchase the mattress from Sleep Country, you’ll have to deal with Sleep Country’s exchange-only policy.
Consider Logan & Cove Frontier instead. At only $1,299 for a queen size, it comes with multiple advanced cooling technologies, including a cooling gel layer, nanofibre cover, and pocketed micro-coils. It also provides advanced pressure-point relief and full-body zoned support. Frontier also comes with a risk-free 365-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle with your purchase.
Ideal For: Side Sleepers, Back Sleepers, Stomach Sleepers

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns
Hush offers free shipping to most regions in Canada. It will arrive on your doorstep in 6–9 business days, including dispatch and delivery time. However, shipping to remote areas isn’t free. If you live in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, or Nunavut, you’ll have to pay an additional $150 fee.
Hush Graph-Iced comes with a 100-night sleep trial, plus free pickup service for returns. However, if you ordered the mattress from Sleep Country, you won’t receive a refund. You’ll only receive credit for an in-store exchange, and you’ll have to pay the price difference if you choose a more expensive mattress. You’ll also have to return the mattress yourself.
Hush offers an industry-standard 10-year limited warranty for its mattresses. It covers manufacturing defects only, and not incidental damage. That includes any damage the mattress may receive when it’s being shipped to you. This is somewhat concerning since our mattress was delivered in a damaged box that was being held together by packing tape.
In comparison, Logan & Cove Frontier comes with a 365-night sleep trial and a 15-year warranty. If you decide to return Frontier, you’ll receive a full refund with free return pickup.

Hush Graph-Iced Mattress Construction
Hush Graph-Iced stands 12″ tall and has 5 visible interior layers. Four of these layers are foam, and one layer contains coils encased with foam. All foam used is CertiPUR-US® certified. Hush does not disclose the densities of the foams used in this mattress.
- Layer 1: The top layer is 1″ of graphite-infused memory foam. This layer conforms the most to your body as you lie down. The graphite contributes to the mattress’s cooling and is also antimicrobial.
- Layer 2: The second layer is 1″ of graphite-infused memory foam. Like the first layer, the graphite in this layer adds to the mattress’s cooling and antimicrobial properties.
- Layer 3: The third layer is 2″ of ventilated foam. Air channels carved into the bottom of this layer make it breathable, and Hush claims the IcedShift Cooling Band on top wicks heat away from your body. It’s not clear what this band is or how it provides cooling benefits.
- Layer 4: The fourth layer is 6″ of individually pocketed metal coils. This layer is encased with foam along the sidewalls to increase edge support.
- Layer 5: The bottom layer of the mattress is 2″ of higher-density support foam. This layer acts as a base for the coil layer above and insulates the mattress from the bed frame.
The Hush Graph-Iced mattress cover is removable and machine washable. It is made from a polyester and polypropylene blend. While both materials are known for their durability, neither polyester nor polypropylene is known for having cooling properties. In fact, polyester is known for heat trapping.
It’s possible that Hush could have engineered the mattress cover to provide cooling features through the right combination of fabric structure, moisture management, and added cooling technologies. However, we can’t say for sure since the company has shared little information about the mattress cover on its website.

MattressReviews.ca commissions licensed third-party engineers and uses public data to rate mattresses on over 40 criteria.
This allows us to accurately rate and compare the performance of the mattresses reviewed on this website. Engineer independence and operating standards help ensure their results remain unbiased, valid, and reliable. Each mattress was evaluated using the same strict mattress testing methodology to protect the overall integrity of the results. The full report has been given the official stamp of approval from an APEGA-certified engineer operating under a strict ethical code of conduct.
Mattress testing conducted outside of this professional standard poses a greater risk of validity errors or reviewer bias.
6.1 /10
Firmness
In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Hush Graph-Iced scored 6.1/10 for firmness. This firmness level is ideal for all sleep styles, but you may want a slightly firmer mattress if you like having more support.
(Logan & Cove Frontier‘s 6.3/10 firmness score hits the perfect balance between comfort and support for a good night’s sleep.)
6.3 /10
Hush Graph-Iced scored 6.3/10 for edge support, which is above average for a hybrid. However, you’ll likely notice some degree of sinkage when sitting on the edge or sleeping farther away from the middle of your bed.
(Looking for a mattress with a bit more edge support? Logan & Cove Frontier has you covered with its higher edge support score of 7.3/10)
8.0 /10
Motion Isolation
Hush Graph-Iced scored 8.0/10 for motion isolation, an excellent score for a hybrid mattress. You’ll be able to move around and change sleep positions without disturbing your partner.
4.1 /10
Bounce
Hush Graph-Iced scored 4.1/10 for bounce, which is below average for a hybrid mattress. You’ll sink into this mattress and get a fair amount of “hug” while you’re lying down, so you may find it more difficult to move around on the mattress and get out of bed in the morning.
(Need a little more bounce to help start your day? With its bounce rating of 4.8/10, Logan & Cove Frontier gives you the responsiveness you need to help you get up in the morning.)
3.5 /10
Cooling Features
The Hush Graph-Iced Mattress is advertised as a cooling mattress. While it has some cooling technologies, the lack of cooling features in specific areas stands out even more. The mattress doesn’t have cooling gel foam or a cooling cover, which are common for cooling mattresses. Instead, the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress relies on graphite-infused foam and other features. This mattress gains points for its:
- Graphite-infused upper foam layers to draw heat away from the body
- Ventilated transition layer that improves breathability and heat dissipation
- IcedShift cooling band, an undescribed technology with unclear benefits
- Pocketed coil layer that allows for airflow
Looking for a mattress with advanced cooling at a more affordable price? Logan & Cove Frontier incorporates a multitude of cooling features, including a quilted top-cover woven with cooling nanofibres, breathable hollow fiber fill, and a gel foam infusion.
Frontier also includes a layer of cooling gel foam and breathable Elastex foam, as well as micro-coils and individually wrapped pocketed coils that allow excess heat to escape the mattress. Logan & Cove Frontier is available at just $1,299 for a queen size, compared to Hush Graph-Iced, which costs $2,099.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Hush mattresses good?
Hush mattresses have above-average edge support and excellent motion isolation, but it’s surprising to see a cooling mattress without a cooling cover. The Hush Graph-Iced Mattress also doesn’t offer enough value for its higher-than-average price tag of $2,099 for a queen size. We suggest competitor Logan & Cove Frontier instead.
At just $1,299 for a queen size, Frontier offers a CryoFusion™ cooling nanofibre cover, a breathable hollow fiber fill, premium cooling foams, and pocketed aeroduct micro-coils that provide zoned support. With its plush Euro-top quilting and free bedding bundle, you’ll receive top value for your dollar—plus a much longer 365-night sleep trial and 15-year warranty.
Is the Hush mattress cover machine washable?
Yes, the Hush mattress cover is machine washable. According to the law label on the mattress, the cover should be washed in a gentle cycle using cold or warm water.
Where are Hush mattresses made?
Hush makes mattresses for the Canadian market in Toronto, Ontario.
Is the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress good for hot sleepers?
The Hush Graph-Iced isn’t a bad choice if you sleep hot, but the $2,099 price tag isn’t accessible for many Canadians. The mattress also doesn’t have a cooling cover, which is unusual for a cooling mattress. In comparison, Logan & Cove Frontier offers similar cooling features, along with a cooling nanofibre-infused top cover and zoned support—all for just $1,299 for a queen size.
Does the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress need a special bed frame?
No, the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress doesn’t need a special frame. It can be used on any bed foundation you already have. However, the company warns against using the mattress without a foundation or on a hand-crafted bed frame.
This mattress is also heavier than most hybrids, so you should make sure that your foundation can handle the weight of both your mattress and your body.
What does the Hush warranty cover?
Hush’s warranty covers defects in workmanship or materials only. It does not cover incidental damage, including damage that occurs during shipping. This is somewhat concerning since our mattress was delivered in a damaged box that was being held together by packing tape.
How long does a Hush mattress last?
Hush’s mattress warranty period is 10 years, so your Hush mattress should last for that long. That said, if there is an issue with your mattress during this time, you may have difficulty making a warranty claim given Hush’s noted customer service issues. Moving the mattress to prepare it for a possible return is also difficult because of how heavy it is.
What Hush mattress alternatives should I consider?
We recommend checking out Logan & Cove Frontier. Frontier is a hybrid mattress with advanced cooling technologies—including a cooling nanofibre cover, a layer of cooling gel, and pocketed aeroduct coils—that keep you from overheating while you sleep.
It also comes with a risk-free 365-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle—all for just $1,299 for a queen size.
