Simba 1500 is a hybrid mattress manufactured by Simba Sleep. It's available online from Simba's website, although orders are fulfilled through Sleep Country Canada. This includes the retailer's industry-standard 100-night sleep trial, 10-year warranty, and exchange-only policy. Simba 1500 tested with excellent edge support and very good motion isolation, according to third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us).
At $1,999 for a queen size, Simba 1500 is more expensive than some other hybrids with micro-coils. Mattresses like Logan & Cove Frontier offer contouring micro-coils, zoned support, cooling layers, and a longer trial and warranty for a lower price than Simba.

Simba 1500 is a 10" hybrid mattress available in a single firmness option. This is a medium-firm mattress with excellent edge support and very good motion isolation. Simba 1500 features a layer of Simbatex®, a heat-dissipating graphite-infused foam. Simba 1500's micro-coils are individually pocketed and have unique, conical designs.
Although the mattress has a zipper, the cover isn’t removable or machine washable. Stains and spills should be spot-cleaned only.
According to the law label on the mattress we purchased, it was manufactured two years before it was delivered. Beds delivered in boxes should not be stored for a significantly long time before being shipped, as it can affect comfort and performance. A Simba Sleep agent confirmed to us that their mattresses should not sit in the box for longer than 6 months. This long time spent in the box had a large impact on Simba 1500's final score.

Simba 1500 can be ordered directly from Simba Sleep’s Canadian website. Although you’re ordering from the Simba website, all aspects of Simba orders are controlled by Sleep Country. That means shipping is free to most Canadian locations (on orders above $75). It should reach your doorstep in 3–10 business days, including dispatch and delivery time. If you live in the Territories or Newfoundland and Labrador, delivery takes 7–10 days and costs $120. Your Simba mattress will arrive packaged in a box.

You have 100 nights to try Simba 1500 at home before deciding whether to keep it. However, Simba asks that you spend at least 30 days with the mattress before returning it. Returns and exchanges are handled through Sleep Country, which doesn’t offer refunds on returned mattresses. You can only exchange your mattress for in-store credit minus a $65 exchange fee.
If you exchange Simba 1500 for a more expensive mattress, you must pay the price difference. Plus, if you return a Simba mattress you purchased online, that means no pickup service—you’ll have to bring it to the nearest Sleep Country store.
Simba 1500 comes with an industry-standard 10-year warranty covering only manufacturing defects. It doesn’t cover normal wear and tear or incidental damage. Simba 1500 is a 10" hybrid mattress with 3 distinct interior layers. Two of these layers are foam, and one uses up to 1,500 micro-coils. All foam used is CertiPUR-US® certified.
Simba’s mattress cover is made of polyester, polypropylene, and a small amount of elastane. It has handles on the side to make moving the mattress easier. Even though Simba 1500 has a zipper, the cover is not meant to be removed and is not machine-washable. Simba recommends that you spot-clean this mattress only.
