Juno Hybrid and Spa Sensations by Zinus are two lower-priced mattresses that aim to offer the benefits of coils without a high price tag. While both contain a spring support layer, only Juno Hybrid includes zoned support, gel-infused foam, an optional cooling cover, a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle.
Edge support and motion isolation are factored into our overall mattress ratings. These scores are shown in green (scores of 5.0+), yellow (3.0–4.9), or red (2.9 and below). Firmness, bounce, and cooling features are a matter of personal preference and aren’t part of our rating system, so these scores are shown in grey.

Juno Hybrid is a Canadian mattress that features a plush, cooling gel foam top layer and a 6″ zoned pocket coil support system. In third-party engineering (commissioned by us), the mattress had a medium-firm feel with outstanding edge support. Juno also offers an optional “Cool+” cover upgrade for added temperature regulation. Juno Hybrid comes with a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle.
Spa Sensations by Zinus is an innerspring mattress with about 2″ of foam overtop a 6″ coil base. The design creates a firmer, responsive feel with a high level of bounce. While it performed well in third-party engineer testing, this mattress has fewer cooling materials than Juno Hybrid and less cushioning above the coil system. Spa Sensations also doesn’t come with a sleep trial and only has an industry-standard 10-year warranty.
Both mattresses provide comfort for budget-conscious shoppers, but they take very different approaches to features and construction. To help you choose between Juno Hybrid and Spa Sensations, we’ve gathered all the information you need to accurately compare these two mattresses.

This allows us to accurately rate and compare the performance of the mattresses reviewed on this website. Engineer independence and operating standards help ensure their results remain unbiased, valid, and reliable.
Each mattress was evaluated using the same strict mattress testing methodology to protect the overall integrity of the results. Foam and hybrid mattress test results are scored on separate scales to ensure fair contextual performance representation as much as possible. The full report has been given the official stamp of approval from an APEGA-certified engineer operating under a strict ethical code of conduct.
Mattress testing conducted outside of this professional standard poses a greater risk of validity errors or reviewer bias.

In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Juno Hybrid earned a firmness score of 6.9/10. This is consistent with a medium-firm feel. Medium-firm mattresses are generally considered ideal for all sleep styles, including side, back, and stomach sleepers.
Spa Sensations by Zinus earned a slightly higher firmness score of 7.0/10. This places the mattress in the “firm” category. A firm mattress can be comfortable for back and stomach sleepers, as well as sleepers with heavier body types. Some side sleepers notice pressure points when sleeping on a firm mattress.
Juno Hybrid earned an edge support score of 9.3/10. This is considered an outstanding score for a hybrid mattress. Strong edge support helps prevent sagging when sitting on the edge of the bed and allows you to use more of the mattress surface while sleeping.
Spa Sensations earned an edge support score of 8.0/10. This is an excellent score for an innerspring mattress, but it’s lower than Juno Hybrid’s score. If you prefer to sit on the edge of your bed or lie nearer to the edge, you might prefer a mattress with greater edge support.
Motion isolation is how well a mattress keeps you from noticing movements from other parts of the bed. Juno Hybrid earned a motion isolation score of 5.3/10. This is considered average for a hybrid mattress. In comparison, Spa Sensations by Zinus earned a higher motion isolation score of 7.1/10, which is very good for an innerspring mattress.
Mattress bounce is a matter of preference. A higher level of bounce can make it easier to switch sleeping positions, while less bounce means a more consistent sleep surface with fewer disruptions. Juno Hybrid earned a bounce score of 6.2/10, which is above average for a hybrid mattress. Spa Sensations earned a full 10/10—the highest bounce score of any mattress we have tested. This is very high and could be too responsive for some sleepers.
Juno Hybrid earned a cooling features score of 4.7/10. It combines gel-infused foam, breathable pocket coils, open-cell foam, and an optional Cool+ cover to help regulate temperature and improve airflow. You might find it’s a good choice if you tend to overheat at night.
Spa Sensations earned a lower score of 2.4/10. It has a breathable innerspring system and a top layer of viscoelastic latex foam, which permits airflow. The mattress doesn’t have a cooling cover or other advanced cooling features, so it may not dissipate heat as well as similar coil-based options.

Although both Juno Hybrid and Spa Sensations contain coil systems, they are constructed very differently and are considered two distinct types of mattresses. Juno Hybrid is a hybrid mattress that has 4 layers and stands 10″ tall. Spa Sensations is classified as an innerspring mattress, stands 8″ tall, and has 3 layers.
The Juno mattress cover has a grey-white-and-berry pattern, the same as the Juno foam mattress. It’s crafted from polyester and viscose materials, with a prominent stripe along one end of the mattress. You can upgrade to the Cool+ cover to include cooling yarn for added temperature control. Neither version of the cover is removable, so it should be spot-cleaned in case of spills or stains.
Spa Sensations’ 100% polyester cover has a jacquard pattern and foam filling. It accounts for the remaining 0.5″ of the mattress’s height. It isn’t removable or machine washable, so any spills or stains will need to be spot-cleaned.

Juno provides a 120-night sleep trial to test the mattress at home. If you choose to return the mattress, Juno offers free return pickup with a full refund. Juno’s customer service team will work with you to donate your returned mattress to a local charity in your area. The company also offers a 15-year warranty.
Spa Sensations can only be purchased through an authorized third-party retailer, since Zinus doesn’t ship directly to Canadian shoppers via its website. The mattress is currently only available online through Walmart Marketplace. Shipping takes 1–3 business days and is free to most Canadian locations for orders greater than $35. The Spa Sensations mattress arrives rolled up inside a box.
Zinus offers a 10-year limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects. However, the company doesn’t provide a sleep trial to Canadian customers, so your trial will vary depending on which retailer you buy from. Walmart also doesn’t accept mattress returns for Marketplace items. You can still start a return through Walmart’s website, but you’ll need to deal with the manufacturer yourself. It’s not clear what Zinus’s return policy is for Marketplace items.
