GhostBed mattresses generally perform well in third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us). Mattresses sold through the GhostBed website come with a longer-than-average warranty of 20 to 25 years, along with a 101-night sleep trial. However, GhostBed mattresses purchased through Costco don’t have a sleep trial. GhostBed is also rated “Bad” on Trustpilot with 1.4/5 stars. And while the company is rated “B” (unaccredited) on BBB, its customer review rating is just 1.38/5 stars.

No, GhostBed mattresses don’t require a boxspring. According to the company’s website, you should pair your GhostBed with a slatted wooden mattress foundation, or a sturdy, adjustable bed frame.

Although GhostBed used to manufacture mattresses that used fiberglass, none of the company’s mattresses sold in Canada currently use fiberglass in their construction. It’s always a good idea to check your mattress’s law label before attempting to remove its cover.

GhostBed lets customers return their mattresses after the first 30 nights of the 101-night sleep trial. Returns may be initiated on the company’s website. If you cancel or return an order, a restocking fee plus return freight will be deducted from your refund. Any discounts or promotions will also be deducted. Restocking fees are not specified on the company’s Canadian website.
