Product Details
Haven LUX Hybrid is a hybrid mattress available online via Haven Sleep Co’s website. It comes in two firmness options: Classic (firm) and Classic + Advanced Pressure Relief (medium). For this review, we ordered the Medium version.
Haven LUX Hybrid has 6 layers and stands 14″ tall, with the pocket coil layer and micro coil layer accounting for 10″ of that height. The remaining layers, not including the quilted mattress cover, are less than 1″ thick each.
In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Haven LUX Hybrid scored below average for edge support but earned a very good score for motion isolation. It also has above-average bounce and a number of cooling features.
Its construction includes open-cell layers of latex and copper-infused foam, as well as cooling gel foam. The micro coils and pocket coils are naturally breathable, as is the moisture-wicking bamboo cover. This cover is not removable or machine washable.
Ideal For: Side Sleepers, Back Sleepers, Stomach Sleepers

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns
Haven LUX Hybrid arrives in 4–9 business days, including dispatch and delivery time. Shipping is free, but there may be a fee for delivery to remote areas, depending on the mattress’s weight. You can cancel an order within 24 hours of making it, but you will be charged a cancellation fee at any point after that. The mattress arrives rolled up in a box and wrapped in plastic.

Haven’s 100-night sleep trial lets you try the mattress at home. However, the company has a limit of one sleep trial per household and recommends trying one mattress at a time. The company will arrange free return pickup for most locations. If you live in a remote area, you can still initiate a return, but it’s your responsibility to return the mattress to its factory of origin in like-new condition.
In addition to its sleep trial, Haven offers a 10-year limited warranty covering manufacturing or workmanship defects. This is considerably shorter than the 365-night sleep trial and 15-year warranty offered by competitor Logan & Cove.
Buy Logan & Cove Pinnacle and enjoy a 365-night sleep trial with a 15-year warranty.

Haven Mattress Construction
Haven LUX Hybrid stands 14″ tall and has 6 mattress layers. The foam layers are CertiPUR-US® certified. Haven doesn’t specify density for any of the foam layers in the Haven LUX Hybrid mattress.
- Layer 1: The top layer of the Haven LUX Hybrid mattress is a 0.5″ layer of open-cell bio foam.
- Layer 2: This layer is a 1″ sheet of Talalay latex and copper-infused foam. The latex contributes to the mattress’s above-average bounce score, while the copper infusion helps with temperature regulation.
- Layer 3: This 1″ layer of cooling gel memory foam has an open-cell design that promotes breathability and helps keep the mattress cool.
- Layer 4: Depending on which firmness option you choose, this 1″ layer of open-cell foam provides varying levels of support. Classic Plush keeps a consistent feel throughout the layer, while Classic Plush + Advanced Pressure Relief has a softer part in the middle to give your shoulders and hips a bit more support.
- Layer 5: A 1″ layer of micro coils helps contour and support your body weight as you sleep. These work together with the pocket coils below to provide extra body contouring and support.
- Layer 6: The bottom (support) layer is made up of 9″ pocket coils. These coils are individually wrapped to reduce motion transfer. A 4″ wall of edge support foam around this layer helps keep the coils steady.
This mattress comes with a plush, moisture-wicking bamboo pillow top. It’s not removable or machine washable, so the mattress can only be spot-cleaned.

MattressReviews.ca commissions licensed third-party engineers and uses public data to rate mattresses on over 40 criteria.
This allows us to accurately rate and compare the performance of the mattresses reviewed on this website. Engineer independence and operating standards help ensure their results remain unbiased, valid, and reliable.
Each mattress was evaluated using the same strict mattress testing methodology to protect the overall integrity of the results. Foam and hybrid mattress test results are scored on separate scales to ensure fair contextual performance representation as much as possible. The full report has been given the official stamp of approval from an APEGA-certified engineer operating under a strict ethical code of conduct.
Mattress testing conducted outside of this professional standard poses a greater risk of validity errors or reviewer bias.

Edge Support
Edge support allows you to sit on the side of the mattress or lie farther away from the centre without sliding off the bed. Hybrid mattresses often have good edge support, thanks to their inner coils. However, Haven LUX Hybrid scored only 3.2/10 for edge support. This is below average for a hybrid mattress.
(Need a mattress with greater edge support? Consider Logan & Cove Pinnacle with its higher edge support score of 6.0/10.)
7.3 /10
Motion Isolation
Mattresses with high motion isolation keep you from noticing your partner’s nighttime movements, which can contribute to a more restful sleep. Hybrid mattresses often have lower motion isolation than foam mattresses. That said, Haven LUX Hybrid scored 7.3/10 for motion isolation. This is a very good score for a hybrid mattress.
6.4 /10
Bounce
Bounce is a matter of personal preference. Higher bounce makes it easy to change sleep positions, while lower bounce ensures a more consistent surface. Haven LUX Hybrid scored 6.4/10 for bounce, which is above average for a hybrid mattress.
(Shopping for a mattress with less bounce? Try Logan & Cove Pinnacle with its lower bounce score of 5.1/10.)

6.2 /10
Cooling Features
Haven LUX Hybrid isn’t advertised as a cooling mattress, but it’s equipped with several cooling features to keep temperatures comfortable. This mattress earns points for its:
- Moisture-wicking bamboo cover to keep sleepers dry at night
- Open-cell foam to promote airflow
- Layer of Talalay latex and copper-infused foam for temperature regulation and bounce
- Layer of cooling gel memory foam for more cooling
- Layer of micro coils to promote air circulation and extra body contouring
- Layer of pocket coils to provide support and promote air circulation
If you want a hybrid mattress with many of the same cooling features at a lower price, consider Logan & Cove Pinnacle. Pinnacle is a hybrid mattress with a cooling nanofibre cover, gel-infused foam, and breathable layers of pocket coils and micro coils. Pinnacle is priced lower at $1,699 for a queen size, compared to $2,000 for Haven LUX Hybrid.
