Exchange-Only Foam Mattress

Springwall Enchantment is an all-foam budget mattress from Canada-based company Springwall. This mattress is made with eco-friendly, soy-based bio foam and moisture-wicking gel in the top layer. It’s available at The Brick for $399 for a queen size.

While Springwall Enchantment appeals to budget shoppers, it has only a 90-day exchange period, which is shorter than the 100-night industry average. It can only be exchanged for another mattress, without the option of a full refund. It also comes with only a 5-year warranty, compared to the industry-average 10-year policy.

In comparison, competing foam mattress Juno has a 120-night sleep trial and a 15-year warranty. It also comes with a free bedding bundle, while Springwall Enchantment does not.

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns

The Brick charges for shipping but doesn’t provide delivery estimates. Instead, shipping costs and timelines are calculated based on your postal code. Springwall Enchantment is delivered through The Brick’s distribution system. The mattress arrives wrapped in plastic and rolled up in a cardboard box.

The Brick offers a 90-day exchange period, which is shorter than the industry standard 100-night sleep trial. You can return your Springwall mattress to The Brick if you aren’t satisfied with it. However, you won’t receive a refund—only store credit that you can put toward a one-time exchange.

Springwall comes with a 5-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects only. Like most manufacturer warranties, Springwall’s warranty doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, mattress or box spring damage, or stains caused by spilling food or drink. This warranty period is much shorter than the 10-year industry standard.

In comparison, competing foam mattress Juno comes with a 120-night trial and is backed by a significantly longer 15-year warranty. If you decide to return the mattress during the trial, Juno will arrange pickup and provide a full refund.

Springwall Enchantment stands 9″ tall and contains 2 foam layers. These layers are CertiPUR-US® certified. The Brick doesn’t provide thicknesses or foam densities for any of the mattress layers.

  • Layer 1: The top (comfort) layer is gel quilt foam. This layer provides a cooling sleeping surface to help regulate your body temperature as you sleep.
  • Layer 2: The bottom (support) layer is composed of soy-based bio foam. This foam layer provides both comfort and support.

Springwall Enchantment’s mattress cover isn’t removable, machine washable, or water resistant. In case of any spills or stains, spot-clean the mattress carefully using as little water as possible.

Mattress Performance Results

4.3 /10

Edge Support

A mattress with good edge support lets you sit on the edge of the bed or lie farther away from the middle without sliding off. In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Springwall Enchantment scored 4.3/10 for edge support. This is below average for a foam mattress.

(Need a mattress with more edge support? Consider Juno with its much higher edge support score of 8.0/10.)

6.1 /10

Motion Isolation

Mattresses with high motion isolation help soften movements from the other side of the bed. Foam mattresses tend to provide more motion isolation than hybrid mattresses. Springwall Enchantment scored 6.1/10 for motion isolation, which is an above-average score for a foam mattress.

4.0 /10

Bounce

Bounce is a matter of personal preference. Higher bounce allows you to easily change sleep positions, while lower bounce gives you a more consistent surface. Springwall Enchantment scored 4.0/10 for bounce, which is below average for a foam mattress.

(Need a mattress with even less bounce? Try Juno with its lower bounce score of 2.5/10.)

Springwall Enchantment cooling features

2.2 /10

Cooling Features

Springwall Enchantment isn’t promoted as a cooling option, but rather as a value mattress. That said, it does provide some cooling features to keep temperatures comfortable. Springwall Enchantment earns points for:

  1. Its moisture-wicking gel quilt top cover, which wicks away moisture
  2. Its layer of cooling gel foam, which enhances heat dissipation and airflow

Competing mattress Juno also offers cooling features on a budget, including a layer of cooling gel foam. You can also upgrade to the optional Cool+ cover, which is woven with heat-dissipating yarn.

Should You Buy Springwall Enchantment?

Springwall Enchantment is an accessibly priced foam mattress with above-average motion isolation. However, it has below-average edge support and a shorter-than-average sleep trial and warranty. It also can’t be returned to The Brick for a full refund. We recommend Juno instead.

Juno is similarly priced at $499 for a queen size. It earned a higher score for edge support and has a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and the option of free return pickup with a full refund. It also comes with a free bedding bundle that includes a sheet set, pillow(s), and a mattress protector.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Springwall mattresses good?

Springwall produces a variety of mattress models that range in price point, and has earned a reputation for fabricating quality mattresses. Springwall Enchantment has above-average motion isolation, but it has below-average edge support and a shorter-than-average sleep trial and warranty.

You might prefer Juno instead. At $499 for a queen size, Juno has a higher edge support score and comes with a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle.

Where can you buy a Springwall mattress?

You can buy a Springwall Enchantment mattress at The Brick. However, Springwall sells its other mattress models at a variety of retailers.

How much does a Springwall mattress cost?

Springwall Enchantment is only available in twin, double/full, and queen size. It’s currently priced at $399 for all sizes.

What Springwall mattress alternatives should I consider?

We recommend Juno instead. Priced at just $499 for a queen size, Juno comes with a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle that includes a sheet set, pillow(s), and a mattress protector.
